This Privacy Policy explains how Bad Credit Apartment Team ("we," "our," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information on badcreditapartments.com and through our locating services. We're licensed Texas real estate agents brokered by Spirit Real Estate Group, LLC (TREC #562021).

Information we collect

Contact details you give us: name, phone number, and email.
Search details: budget, move in timing, areas you want, household size, and pet needs.
Situation details you choose to share, such as your rough credit range, rental or eviction history, background questions, and income type. Share only what you're comfortable with.
Messages and call records: texts, emails, and notes, plus recordings or transcripts of calls, including conversations with our AI assistants.
Website data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the site that sent you, collected through cookies and similar tools.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for and don't want your Social Security number, date of birth, driver's license or ID numbers, bank or card numbers, or copies of your credit report, eviction records, or criminal records. Please don't send them to us. When you apply for an apartment, you give that information to the community directly through its own application.

How we use information

To suggest communities that fit your budget, timing, and situation.
To follow up by phone, text, and email about your search.
To set up tours and help you prepare to apply.
To keep records our brokerage and Texas real estate rules require.
To improve our site and service, and to protect against fraud and misuse.

AI and automated messaging

We use automated messaging and AI assistants to answer common questions, send follow ups, and schedule tours. These tools read and respond to the messages you send us, and calls with them may be recorded and transcribed. Our licensed team oversees these tools, and you can ask for a person at any time. We don't use AI to decide whether you qualify for housing. Each community makes that decision.

Apartment communities you choose. With your OK, we share your name, contact details, and the basics a community needs to set up a tour or talk with you. We don't send your credit report or any records.
Service providers that help us run the business, such as our CRM, texting, email, phone and AI assistant, website hosting, and analytics tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Our brokerage, Spirit Real Estate Group, for supervision and record keeping.
Legal needs: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share your mobile number or text opt in consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

Our site uses cookies and similar tools to keep it working and to see how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to help with your search and for as long as Texas real estate license rules and other laws require us to keep transaction records. After that, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you. We keep a record of any opt out request so we can keep honoring it.

We use reasonable safeguards, such as access controls and secure, reputable service providers, to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

Whether or not a privacy law applies to us, you can ask us to:

Fix information that's wrong
Delete your information, except records the law requires us to keep
Stop texts (reply STOP), calls, or emails at any time

Children

Our service is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version. If we make a big change, we'll post it here before it takes effect.
